Demo and showcase at PoCInPlay

I haven't really had a chance to write this month because
Tada!
I was focused on getting OverGem into a demo-able state for the PoCInPlay 1 year anniversary meetup!
When I heard from the PoC In Play team, early February, that they would be happy for me to exhibit my game at their anniversary, I was ecstatic! I have been attending their meetups for nearly a year and I have always felt very welcomed. I decided to take the opportunity to hunker down and iron out the majority of the bugs in OverGem, for it to be shown in public for the first time.
The event went really great for me! I met and made a few new friends and OverGem was received well (I think)! I did have a few hilarious hiccups on the night. Found a bug where if n number of players joined the previous match, you can't have < n number of players in the next match. Though your boi fixed that somehow 10 minutes just before the event started. Windows also tried to update ... twice. It did somehow decided to give me a break and stopped at 26%.
But, I got through it! It was a pretty good evening. Though I admitantly am now in need of a little break. For the next couple of weeks I will be slowing down my progress on the development side of OverGem to just catch a breath. I will still probably have something to write for end of March though, so see you next time!
